San Diego, CA – October 21, 2015 The highly anticipated third installment of RJ Anderson’s mind bending viral offroad video series has completed production and is currently in final stages of editing. In the latest of the XP1K series, The Martelli Brothers and their production team, Mad Media, created an array of massive man made obstacles spread out over six locations in and around the Youngstown, Ohio area. Mad Media chose the post apocalyptic dystopian decay of abandoned steel mills, old factories, and train yards as the backdrop to showcase RJ Anderson’s skillful car control and death defying stunts.
“Youngstown offered a perfect atmosphere for this project. The town’s film friendly environment and industrial history created a visually rich environment with great contrast to showcase the scale and risk involved in these stunts. We can’t wait to share this project with the world. People are going to be blown away!” stated Mad Media COO and CoDirector, Josh Martelli.
The XP1K viral film series has accrued more than 16 Million aggregate video views across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram so far, and has been watched in more than 70 different countries. The adrenalizedbranded video campaign has made hundreds of millions of impressions worldwide, redefining the Sport Utility Vehicle (UTV) and SidebySide (SxS) market.
